Welcome to Mineral Wells ISD! 

 

We are excited that you’re considering joining the Mineral Wells ISD family! Our district is proud to provide a high-quality education rooted in strong values, community involvement, and student success. We welcome transfer students from outside of our district boundaries who are ready to become a part of something exceptional. 

 

Now Accepting Transfer Applications for the 2025–2026 School Year 

 

To attend Mineral Wells ISD as an out-of-district transfer student, a completed and approved application is required. Our process is designed to be clear and accessible, with all guidelines outlined in the Legal and Local Frameworks adopted by our school board—both of which are embedded in the application.

Use our convenient Online Application to begin the process. You also have the option to download and complete the form using the link below.  Please fill out one form per student. 

 

Important Application Details: 

  1. This form is for new transfers only. 

  1. Please answer all questions.  If you are filling out the online form, please click “Submit” when complete. You can also choose to “save” your progress and return to it later. 

  1. Once submitted, no changes can be made to the application. 

  1. Only complete, submitted applications will be considered. 

  1. Some required documents may not be available until the end of the current school year in your student’s current district.  If your child is a returning MWISD student, please update their 2025–2026 registration through your Skyward Family Access account. 

  1. Once approved, you will be notified by email.  After accepting the offer, you’ll proceed with new student enrollment.  We look forward to welcoming you to Mineral Wells ISD—where every student counts, and every moment matters.
