Back to School Fair

For many families served by the surrounding community, the end of the summer is a time when families with little to spare must carefully budget to get their children ready for the school year. Mineral Wells ISD is fortunate to have community partners that are willing to host the Annual Back to School Fair.

Each year the Back to School program serves approximately 800 students. Each child received a personal bag of school supplies, as well as access to valuable resources that are available right here in our county through over 25 non-profit partners.  This program has insured that these students have the same tools to learn and that when they start, can open the door to more success.
Let's Get Ready for School!

The Annual Back to School Fair will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Mineral Wells Jr. High School (1301 SE 14th Avenue, Mineral Wells, TX).  Each family will need to have all students in need of supplies present at the time of the event.

Who May Attend?

The Fair is free and open to the public. Free school supplies are made available to families with school-aged children who (a) reside in Palo Pinto County and (b) who meet eligibility requirements.  Students must be present to receive supplies.

Can I Contribute to the Event?
