The Mineral Wells Independent School District is committed to excellence. Academic achievement is the top priority for MWISD’s 3,250 students. It is truly a place where the needs of the students come first. The children of this historic community attend three elementary schools, one junior high, and one high school (4A). The district also has the Mineral Wells Academy, a well-established alternative education center. A total district staff of 470 provides a quality education for all students.
