Voluntary Benefits

Mineral Wells ISD also offers many voluntary benefits, such as, dental insurance, life insurance, disablity insurance, etc.  Voluntary benefits are managed through First Financial Group of America (FFGA).  A list of voluntarty benefits offered through FFGA as well as benefit summaries, claim forms, administrative forms, customer service numbers, provider directories and direct links to the insurance carriers is linked below.

Retirement Programs

With the hurried pace of our everyday lives, it is difficult sometimes to slow down and plan for the future.   Mineral Wells ISD offers retirement programs to its employees through the use of 403(b) tax deferred annuities and 457 deferred compensation.  These programs are also managed through First Financial Group of America (FFGA).  To obtain additonal information regarding a retirement program or to enroll in a program, please contact First Financial’s Retirement Services Department at (800) 523-8422 or select "Retirement Planning" in the link below.

General Information:

As a reminder, Mineral Wells ISD's open enrollment period to enroll in and make changes to your 2016-17 benefits has passed. If you are a new employee or need to update or change your enrollment due to a qualifying event such as a marriage, birth, death, change in employee status for you, your spouse or dependents, please contact the Mineral Wells ISD Benefits Coordinator, Karen Mori, (see contact information below)  to learn how to enroll in or change your benefits.  All new hire enrollments or enrollment changes must be completed within 31 days of your hire date or a qualifying event.
