Communication Director, Karyn Bullock

Karyn Bullock is a graduate of Tarleton State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing.  Karyn’s professional experience includes seven years in management with Walmart Inc., two years as the Executive Director of United Way of Palo Pinto County, and ten years as the Communications Director for Mineral Wells ISD.

 

Outside of the office, Karyn has been a Rotarian for 12 years, serving the Mineral Wells Club as secretary, president, youth service director, and most recently, public Image.  Karyn also currently serves as a Chamber Ambassador, a member of the Palo Pinto County Extension Leadership Advisory Board, the MWHS Interact Club sponsor, and a member of the Mineral Wells Study Club.  Karyn is a mom of three and has been married to her husband, David for 27 years.

 

Outside of work, she is finally discovering the benefits of the “Empty Nester” experience.  Spending more time on the road traveling, Karaoke with friends on Tuesday (and sometimes on Wednesday) nights,  watching her son, Kidd Callahan perform with his band, and finally getting to frequent all the good restaurants.
