It is the goal of Mineral Wells ISD to provide each student with the best education possible. We recognize that parents play an extremely important role in their children’s educational success. It takes a partnership between the school and the home working together to help a child succeed in achieving his or her goals. This partnership enables MWISD to foster and support active parent involvement and engagement so that schools and parents unite and collaborate as partners in education.

 

MWISD provides opportunities and training for parents to become partners with the school in promoting the education of the child at school and at home; and provide information about methods parents can use at home to complement the child’s instruction. This communication is an extremely important component of the educational process and should be an on-going, sustained practice. We invite all parents to join our team and support our efforts to educate and ensure the success of all children in our Mineral Wells community.
