Assistant Superintendent
David Tarver became the Assistant Superintendent in July of 2016. He has served Mineral Wells ISD since 1996. In those years, many roles have been filled including: teacher/coach, special education campus coordinator, transition coordinator, CBI coordinator, CPI instructor, and assistant principal. When coaching, responsibilities included football (assistant coach, offensive coordinator, off-season coordinator, and assistant head coach) and head softball. These roles have served Travis Elementary, Junior High, High School, and the Palo Pinto COOP. One year was served as the secondary principal for Perrin-Whitt CISD.
David is a resident of the Mineral Wells school district. His wife (Summer) and children (Reece, Ty, Rylan, and Blake) love being a part of this great community.
