December Apple Corp Nominee, Kathy Rogers

The Apple Corps program rewards excellence in teaching by honoring outstanding Mineral Wells Independent School District teachers. This is the District’s highest and most elite recognition. Mineral Wells ISD seeks to honor exceptional classroom teachers who demonstrate leadership innovation and dedication to the students.

This honorary program will induct five teachers this year during a special ceremony at the District’s Board of Trustees monthly meetings. These highly regarded educators are chosen from a pool of teachers who have been nominated by their peers at each campus. The MWISD Apple Corp inductee for Lamar Elementary is Pre-K teacher is Kathy Rogers.
“Kathy Rogers works hard every day to improve the life of students in and out of school. Her upbeat positive attitude motivates her peers. She is giving of resources, time, and goes on and above to serve students, staff, and campus. She sets high expectations for her learners. She is not afraid to reach out to staff, make phone calls, and seek resources to ensure student success”.
