The Department of Public Relations/ Public Information promote positive public relations between the school district and community. Information is prepared and provided to the public about activities, goals, and policies of the school district. It is the goal of the communications department to promote district programs, initiatives, accolades and achievements to the community at large.

Pertinent information about the district and its activities is distributed to employees, parents, and community media. The goal is to promote the value of education through effective communication through an open and effective internal and external communications network.

To reach parents, students, staff and community members in a format that most appeals to their communication style, the Mineral Wells ISD communications department shares news and information in a variety of ways.
