This year, Community National Bank & Trust of Mineral Wells selected MWHS educator Stacey Fade to attend the 9th Annual Jump Start National Educator Conference in Washington D.C. from November 3-5, 2017. This conference is aimed to provide teachers with the tools, training, encouragement and experience to educate students in personal finance.
This conference will not only be a great resource for her as an educator, but it was also a way of saying thank you for her service to our schools, our youth and our financial future. This opportunity will give Mrs. Fade the chance to experience the cutting-edge of financial literacy education and receive a certificate for 15 professional development hours. Through this generous contribution from Community National Bank & Trust, she will be able to see, learn about, and try educational resources to integrate immediately into current lesson plans. Furthermore, she will the opportunity to network with colleagues from across the country.
